Office Manager


Oscilla Power, Inc., located near Fisherman’s Terminal of Seattle, WA is looking to hire an Office Manager who can take ownership of managing our Seattle office and assist a team of research engineers working on cutting-edge renewable energy technology. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, pro-active, and detail-oriented individual who can identify and take on tasks that help with the organization and running of the office. This is initially a part-time position but with the option to grow into a full-time position as our company grows. The Office Manager position enjoys a competitive starting wage between $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience, and comes with great schedule flexibility. A minimum of 20 hours a week over 3-4 days a week, with a negotiable schedule. This position also comes with up to 40 hours of PTO per year and some paid holidays when they fall on the agreed-upon workday schedule. Employees who move to >75% employment will also be eligible for health care, dental, and vision benefits. 


Oscilla Power is a privately held company, backed by investors with deep experience in the energy and financial services industries.  Oscilla Power Inc is developing advanced technology to extract energy from ocean waves. Our Triton and Triton-C wave energy converters promise to substantially lower the cost of extracting energy from the ocean.



  • Compile invoices, receipts, manage PO’s, and approval paperwork. 

  • Help to maintain an efficiently organized digital filing system.  

  • Addressing any employee requests and concerns. 

  • Incoming and outgoing mail processing.

  • Occasional purchasing to include supplies and materials for the office

  • Onboarding (HR) paperwork (working with external payroll company)

  • Fill in paperwork related to insurance coverage, with updating as needed 

  • Review and update website content periodically working with management and service providers

  • Help in assembling documents and proposals (final formatting, etc) 

  • Other clerical duties as needed 


  • Minimum of 3 years in an office assistant or management role.  

  • Able to pass a background check 

  • Can provide 2-3 professional references 

  • Skilled in basic office software programs including Word, Excel, and Gmail

  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Excellent time-management skills

  • Be able to adapt to varying needs and requirements typical of a fast-paced work setting.
